OK, she's totally stock, minus Head Unit and overhead light (adds 15 whp). But yeah, tell me what ya'll think, and gimme some suggestions. Anything would pretty much be appreciated. Besides engine mods... she's a sohc d16y7, non vtec... but yeah, as far as body and interior, wheels, whatever. Thx in advance for looking.

And last but not least, this is where I've got my stock H.U. "hidden"... I know you're supposed to put it behind the dash where that little niche is, but I've still got the stock cd player installed there, and don't really plan on taking it out... was wondering if any of you guys had ideas on where to put it.

nope, aint got nothin.... was looking at some enkei's tho.... definitately looking toward a upper front strut bar and aem intake, cuz they'd make under the hood look nicer.... definately want some kinda exhaust, have no idea what tho, just something to let it purr, not neccesarily a crotch rocket fart can type.... and a 4-2-1 dc header, chrome.... but i seriously doubt it'd do anything 'cept make her moan a bit sexier...

Yes there are many options for intake, header and exhaust....its your choice

The last pic of the H.U. (head unit) ,the stock one... I have it behind the stock cd player (the head unit and honda cd player were seperate). It's hanging by the harness thats connected to the aftermarket cd player, so I'm able to keep the original keyless entry and overhead light-coming on when i open doors- features. I'm too financially prohibited right now to buy an aftermarket security system, so that's why I have the stock one still. I'd heard of some people putting it in the glove compartment, etc... just looking to see if anyone had done that or something similar...

2. and a dx/lx engine.... is that good? i figured the ex was only an upgraded civic, y'know? factory standard moonroof visor (i removed), mudflap thingies, and i think spoiler... but im not positive those are the features... but yeah. so someone replaced the engine? is that what ur saying?

they usually put them under the seat, but they DO make harnesses for these conversions.

red/clear tails make the car look SOOOO much cleaner, and they arent that expensive.

youll need either lowering springs or coilovers to drop your car. ide go with coilovers. Ground control in perticular. nice ride, and they adjust rather easlily compared to all others.

since you DO have a moon roof and such it puzzles me why you have a D16Y7. do you have power windows and locks?

my car is dropped on steelies. its not bad.

yes, i got a moonroof, and yes, i have a d16y7... what else should i have? i know its a 1.6 sohc... umm.... what else... i know its not vtec, it doesnt have any kind of symbol, badge, emblem, etc.... and thats what it says in the manual... so... i dont know...

6th gen wont have VTEC posted anywhere. you need to go by your block code. ex is fully loaded. p/w, p/l, c/c, tilt wheel, a/c, p/s, moon roof, tach, color matched door handles and mirrors.

not that it matters, but i was actually thinking about doing the mesh in the front where the H is, tinting the windows, getting the black Halo headlights, and intake and exhaust for starters... thing is, i've had to pay for 6 speeding tickets for the past 4 months... so not much money, y'know?

oh, and does the car ride any different when lowered?
and one other thing i wanted to do, i was thinking about getting the passenger visor replaced w/ a visor lcd screen, the ones w/ the screen built into it, and installing my xbox in the car... any suggestions, arguments, etc?

i have to go by my block code.... is that the VIN? ... or a number on the actual engine block... if so, where's it at? is it visible from looking down from above? or would i have to get under the car, etc....

do as you wish, its your car. and yes, it rides different when you drop it. just make sure that when you get wheels or new tires get a decent speed rating on them. h, z, or zr... they are rated higher for turns, speed, and braking.

its visible from the engine bay. pop your hood, and on the left side of your block (just to the left of the exhaust manifold) there is a flat spot that sticks out a lil. it should read D16Y8 if you have an EX. its not hard to find.

Thanks for pointing out that ceiling light, I've never seen one of those before. Plus why do you want your factory radio in if you have an aftermarket one? Lose the seat covers next...then I dunno if ur car is dirty or the paint is just crap. Looks okay, just needs some nice tlc.
