The Edelbrock Turbo Kit. Complete with intercooler and all neccessary hardware around $3,000 +/-.... Greddy $2,000 +/-... <- without intercooler.... i'm just curious about which turbo would be a better buy for the money and the performance?

i've seen the GReddy turn out more torque than the Edelbrock at the same boost level. they seem to match HP wise though.....but the thing that sends me towards GReddy is, they matched horsepower with out utilizing an intercooler. So i feel that GReddy is the better way to go. IMO

yeah.....edelbrock does come with the whole set-up where as you would need to buy a blow-off-valve and intercooler to even the odds if you got a GReddy. So the price difference between 'em is because GReddy lacks those two items in its package......but GReddy also has a "grip" of upgradable parts for their turbo kits

yea thats a good site, and a good price... but i got a question why are all the greddy kits for the years 96-99.... i'm guess that they wouldn't fit my car 2000? that makes no sense what so ever... does anybody know anything about this.... also one last question the greddy kit also does not come with an intake manifold is this correct? where as the edelbrock does?

Yes the Greddy does not but if you look on there you can get skunk2's for very cheap, and still not pay as much as you would have for the edelbrock.Um about it fitting i know that 99-00 si's are identical motor wise if im wrong feel free to correct me so im sure it will fit.

Yup that is true i got a ITR manifold which is where skunk2 got its disign from, and i felt the diff right away so 8 hp is right maybe more if you have mods to support it.

if you need to decided between the two, id get teh edlebrock. its more complete. the intercooler for the greddy that you can buy (two options i think) are WAY huge, almost too big for the cfms youll be crankin out of that greddy turbo...

But iwht the extra money he will have from getting the greddy he can get a intercooler kit for that and the Bov and have more power then the edelbrock for around the same price.

nothing official here but i got this from a guy on cardomain, " I installed the GReddy Evo full cat back exhaust, tinted my windows. Installed the Greddy type 24 front mount intercooler, Greddy Turbo kit. Dyno'd at 231 whp @ 7psi. Not bad for a stock turbo B16!"

those hp numbers are definitely going to differ from car to car (even the same model year and mileage, etc.) so just keep that in mind.
