EF turbo questions

I know a good bit about tegs and about turbos in general, but I need to know two things from people with experience with ef's.

1. Can I boost a EF and have enough room to keep AC and power steering? if so, would I use a log or ramhorn manifold and would I go top/side/bottom mount?

2. how much boost can a d16a1 hold safely? and how much HP can I expect to be able to get out of a stock d16a1 with a t3/t4 turbo, 2.5in exhaust, RC550cc injectors and a walbro 255?

a6 has the strongest bottom end of the d-series, with a great tune 230-250 should hold

the go-autoworks manifold keeps a/c and ps, also numbers depend on amount of boost and which t3/t4 exactly

i gotta find the turbo in my pile of crap in the garage. pretty sure its a .60 trim and considering I was only thinking 180 0.o 230 to 250 is good to here. I only have 164k on the motor so it should hold low psi fine ( i'll check compression anyway)

s*** my bad I read it wrong, still those older d-series seem to hold up better for some reason

Either way, sounds like boost is a feasable plan. I already have everything that I was going to use to boost my b18a1 so I just hve to swap out the b series speciic parts for d series parts and have the exhaust made

its a rt4wd wagon
It's still a 4th gen Civic.

im an idiot, I wrote d16a1 and meant a6  this is what happens when you come from integras lol
I figured it wasn't the a1. Those take a bit more work to get in that chassis, especially for the power output, making it not nearly worth it. They are not bolt in and go swap.

Still the a6 is arguably one of the most solid of the d-series.

230-250 seems a little high, I'm in that ballpart on 9.5psi with my ls motor, with 3" downpipe & exhaust, no cat.

I'd say 180-200 or so, in that range.

ya I was going to do 11 psi on a b18a1 with 550cc injectors, walbro 255, and stock rebuild and was only aiming for 280 so 250 seemed high but I honestly only want about 180. Id be happy with 130 to be honest lol the stock 105 or wahtever thats probably closer to 95 now is just annoying. and you can only get about 15 or less with bolt ons.

300 for a motor you have to break apart and rebuild and buy all the rebuild parts for is pretty high considering i'm selling the same motor already torn apart with rebuild kits, brand new water pump and timing belt, and arp head studs and rod bolts for only 450

Too much for a bad motor... And to the guy who owns this thread... your not getting more then 190 on stock d15. (unless u push up the turbo over 9-10 psi and at that point something is going to give soon after tuning if it makes it past tuning) I would say 150-165 on 6-7 psi

Ooooo and u asked about a/c and p/s. Yes u can. Cost iron manifold for 100-200$ and a custom down pipe 100$ or the best way custom everything... 650-1,000$ (there are other ways but that's the main two)
