the car looks the same, the neighborhood looks the same. he says it has a gsr, which someone could mistake for a ls/vtec. biggest thing is that he right here close in texas where nine78guy lives. i just dont get why he would post an old picture of the car. trying to throw people off?

regardless i emailed him saying im interested in buying it and if he has more, better quality pictures.

just depends on if he replies and what nine78guy says.

id be willing to drive to abilene to talk to the "owner" about the car. its a straight shot on I 20.

edit: he says its a 98 with a 2000 front... could be trying to throw people off still.

I'm sure thieves sign up on all our Honda forums and lurk for YEARS while stealing cars. Jay Jay should make a new feature where you have to post every x amount of time otherwise the account expires. And you can't re-new it unless e-mail him and speak with him directly. I'm sure there are plenty of accounts on here that have no posts and are probably thieves that just pick out cars and keep an eye on them.

sorry to hear of this man! most of the time when big stuff like this is stolen like this its an "inside" job a "good" or "close" friend. Hell i had 1500 of turbo parts stolen out of my car ...log mani and turbo were under pass. seat only 3 people knew for sure it was there....doors locked everything (broke pass. side rear glass) gauges ...turbo timer....cd player...radar detector still were in car....they knew what they wanted and got it
