A little late but hey, I HAVE THEM ON MY HATCH!!!

So the 2 door coupe and hatchback EK side Skirts will fit a 92-95 hatchback or do they have to be from a hatchback EK only? and also will they line up with my stock clips?

But why in the world would someone go through the hassle onto putting EK skirts on their EG if they don't look any different then theirs? Don't go through the hassle, just buy aftermarket ones....

EG and EK side skirts are two enitrely different styles. I like EK skirts because they actually have some flow to the design and IMO look a tad more sporty, where as EG side skirts are just kind of round and dull.

Yea about the clip issue, the front clips line up ok. I think about half of the clips under the car don't line up, well let me re-phrase that...the EK skirt requires less to mount. The clips on the side however after the B pillar start becoming slightly off.

I just threw some self-tapping screws in the ends and called it a day. They're in the fender wells and you can't see them, plus I went ahead and painted the heads black with paint marker.

oh boy you sure dont know the difference then. EK sideskirts have aflare and EG skirts dont, they just round in, looks too plain plus EK skirts look good with a spoon or mugen front lip.

As for lining up, NO they dont match up. EG skirts are shorter than EK so u have to trim off the EK to fit and drill new holes on the EK skirts to line them up. a couple of the clips do fit but the majoirty wont. overall it is pretty simple if u know what your doing.

they are not the same length. a little trim will make it fit nicely tho. all clips wont fit back in. the rest u have to drill new holes to mount them in. well worth it in the end.

sounds easy enough. in a couple days im goin to order a brand new front lip for my red EJ1 and i'll order some 99 Si sideskirts already painted Milano Red from Honda. if u need red or black, u can get them from honda already painted, brand new for like $120 each. thats a lot of money though...

Yea, have a look around any junkyard. Maybe even shop after hours.;) I got mine for $30.00, I really like how they look on my car. Still contemplating painting them to match or repainting the whole car EBP or Nighthawk Black.

I'm thinking Nighthawk Black with some black with red lip Rota Autocrosses.

That's actually not bad if they come already painted...I paid 80 for mine then had to paint them milano red to match! lol

If I get them Im gonna paint them, put a mugen style front lip and another lip for the rear and paint the whole car in white. But are they two types of skirts, one that you can paint and another one made out of of black rubber? or is only one kind and you can just paint them if you want?

hey since we're on topic
anyone know if ek 4dr skirts fid on an eg 4dr?
All "EKs" have the same size sideskirts. And you have to trim them to fit them onto 5G hatches and coupes.

Yes, they are all the same size. And they can all be painted. None of them are rubber.

My stock black sideskirts are actually on a friend's white hatch back in DE (at least they should be by now).

well for future reference, IDK about cutting the EK side skirt to fit the EG. But I do know that the skirts off and Ek coupe should fit without any modification on an EG coupe. Cause thats what I did, I just put them on, but I did remove the clips cause they wont align right, but with a screw on each end and the the original 5 plastic screws on the bottom, it should hold. But it does flare out a bit on the front. But other than that It should fit right in without any mod.
