i'm not a crazy driver.. never got a ticket for speeding... but i always wanted one, too. i'm unwilling to put a lot of money into it...

i'm also concerned because i wouldn't want it to obstruct anything, and i've run out of places to put all this s**t.

I had a Whistler. Older Spectrum model. I could pick up an Albertsons or Kroger at 3000 meters.


I bought it used...I can't complain.

Im currently selling my Cobra 9700 for $100 shipped.

After buying it I realized most cops in my small town dont have their radar turned on unless they visibly see someone and then they ping them. (Turn radar on and off) I also stopped going so damned fast

If anyone needs a good detector pm me.

By requests, here is what mine looks like wired to the car. I just ran the wire across the headliner, down the A pillar and into the fuse box under the steering wheel.

1st pic you can hardly see it in the center at the top of the windshield.


2nd pic shows where it is mounted inside.

IMO radar detectors are bad... if a cop sees it hes bound to think you were doing something worse than you were :/
