no, he should get the 92-93 b18a1, and just switch to a 90-91 b18a1 dissy which will convert him to obd0, but then he'll also get the motor with a little more torque and hp if he does taht.

i think cheaper way to go would be by grabbing an LS block ($300), a Vtec head (B16 $600), and a JDM S1 tranny($500)...LS/Vtec kicks ass i know cuz i have a B20vtec and I spank homeboys with GSR's in their hatch back like nothing with my minor bolt ons....

plus with LS/Vtec grab some used JDM P30 pistons which at most cost $150, 2 layer head gasket and a good tune with uberdata or hondata you can make 200hp without a problem, or you can always boost with ls/vtec, if not you can do B20vtec like me....for more info check out www.b20vtec.com peace
