I think it adds a rough contrast to the way the water is so smooth and perfect. I like the hand.

The problem with that is that the spoon and water are centered in the picture, giving it a much more important feel then the hand.... If you truly wanted that kind of contrast you would crop out the right side, giving each figure equal time....

never heard of a sign like that.
here all of the gas stations have signs that say pumping your own gas is against the law

it's funny how something so normal can seem weird to someone in a differnt state.
