Next time, put it in MACRO mode, and get even closer to the eye... I took the shot of my friends eye, so it wasnt so bright on mine haha

...then the next step, is to bring the camera a little closer... its easier if you take it of someone else, so you can put the camera in 1 spot, then adjust the length for the macro as neccessary

yep, still for being a newb with this cam it cam out well. im getting a 10X macro lens soon, along with fish eye and i think panoramic(wide)
