Not a fan of the photo but execution of the technique seems good. I just think its the placement of that particular leaf. Maybe the ones lower would look better.

It's actually 1 of only 4 leaves that are red. I just picked the one that wasn't blocked by others and was in focus the most.

Ah. It just looks odd cause that being the contrast line of light to dark and the leaf seems to get lost.
