I second. dont like domestics either...the only domestic i'd ever take would be a c5 or c6.

Id take the evo; Better insurance prices. Convince the parents easier cause its awd, and im not much of a domestic person. Plus the price tag on that vette.... lol Id just give up on cars and buy a house for that. Fuggin 70k on a whip. Gotta be a fuggly azz low life to do that. ( Please just honor that its just my opinion domesticators.) This IS HONDA tech though... support your import.

If i dropped 40k into an evo i think id prefer it in a long run over the Vette. Plus its more honorable to win in an import than to lose in a Vette. Theres not much more technology left for the vette b/c stock its a 7.0l V8 And most of the internals are set. Any tuning and your not gonna be able to handle the RWD bad boy. Beautiful Car, but i guess it has to be your style to rock it. Anyways Guys, Im off topic. Incredible Video. keep em coming,

f**k an evo...no f**king comparison against the new z06...remember that vette is stock..the evo had mods...lets see a modded vette run the 1320...i regular 2005-2006 vette has a stock top speed of 186 mph...

I kinda of biased cuz I am getting my vette in 2 weeks

I used to wax Z06's on a regular basis in my lightly modded '02 WRX in dallas..

Oh, and racerx661.. congrats.. you also mentioned that there is no comparison because the z06 is stock and the evo is modded.. Also remember that the evo is a 2.0L 4 cylinder, and the vette is a v8, with over three times the displacement.. as you can see, there are a couple of places where the two are close.. like weight and MPG.. lol! And here's some comparative stats for you...

Id sell both and use it for a downpayment on a house!
Now this is a smart man. But if I had to choose I would get a Evo if it's a regular c6 but I would take the corvette if it was a z06.

a lightly modded wrx isnt going to touch a c5 or c6 vette. This is coming from a modded wrx owner. Your gonna need to upgrade your turbo to atleast a vf34 to even get close. And those numbers you listed for the evo seem to be a little generous. They tend to run 13.3-13.7 with a good driver and not trapping 105, more like 102ish.
