So recently I've been having that itch I used to have to turbo. I've been thinking and told myself to just save lots for a nice little B18C1 swap and be done with it. But I started thinking a little more... I'd be paying more to swap. My motor is young(50K) and I amassed an entire turbo kit(except for a computer and charge piping) and a half(had 2 turbos, 2 manifold) last time I had the itch. But then I sold it all for no real reason. At the least I wish I hadn't gotten rid of one of the manifolds(had a beautiful HF one that was sand blasted and painted in high temp black paint and another cast iron manifold that was supposed to retain A/C and had a 38mm wastegate elbow in the perfect spot). A member on here has one of those and actually one my turbos as well. I attained the majority of the parts I needed and would have been under $1000 INCLUDING a $325 tune(I'm thrifty lol). I'm really just looking for a little something extra. Even up to 215 or 220 hp total. I know that's not a problem with an HF mani and a DSM turbo with blue top(maybe even black top this time so i won't need an resistor box) injectors. And at such a low gain, my young engine would most likely be safe with stock internals. My engine being a JDM D15B, I've heard it to have a bit thicker rods as well, but a little higher compression than say a D16Y8. Eh, I don't know, sway me here guys. I'm thinking mild boost just to give myself a little thrill.
