Yea, I found out the hard way about the vent on the invader hood. I had it with a KA underneath and it rained right on the disributor and it took a while to get the car to run right on the way home from work that day. On the VIS Evo hood on my civic it has a cover that bolts under neath the vents on the hood, and that helps 100%. I'm doing an S15 front end conversion on my current one and will probably get a vented hood on that as well, but it will never see bad weather so I could care less. What rims are you thinking about getting btw?
I actually realy like the 5zigen typhoons but appearently they're discontinued now so i mite have to search around and find them used? i think they come in 17x7.5 in front and 17.8.5 in rear... not sure.. but I want something staggered and at least 8 in the rear with 4 lug... I was considering the FN01R-c's but not really liking any of the colors... although i found someone selling a set of 2 17x7 and 2 17x8 for $650 in bronze... but i really want something in black with a polished lipMAC said:
yeah, i'm really not a fan of the s13 fronts just because they're too boxy and it does'nt flow right with the fastback's curves... also does'nt help that 80% of the time when i see them they are'nt painted.. hehe. I'm looking to stay with the 4 lug as well. I puirchased a whide body fender kit for my old S13 when I put on the S13 Silvia front end, I think I'm going to go wide again. I'm more than likely getting Gold w/polished lip Volk GT-7s 18x8 +24 up front and 18x11 +11 in the back. Prolly gonna be running like a 275/35-285/40 tires back there as well. Those come in gunmetal/polished and range from 7.5"-12" wide with offsets from -2 to +43. My second choice are Gram light 57s, also multiple colors size/offsets. Some Volks/Grams start at about $300ea for 17s, not too bad for a wheel you know fits right on a RWD 4lug car.
he did, but some guy from the neighborhood had it on his car and bought the kit plus the carbon fiber hood for $1500...he decided to sell it to my brother (with the lights) for $350 so he couldn't pass it up.PANGES said:

that's cool. I have'nt thought about 18's simply cuz it looks weird on s13's unless you have some sort of body kit... the volks seem very appealing but they're so much $$$!!! lol... I guess i should'nt cheap out anywhere on my car.. but the fn01r-c's are very cheap considering and pretty good widths.. but not really liking the look of them or bronze on my car.. the GT-7's are really nice thoughMAC said:
