^ its easier to tune and with those parts when or if he chooses to up the boost he can do it without maxing the fuel pump and etc out.
the stock fuel pump is like 70 where as walboro is either 190 or 255
even on mistajuices NA gsr build he needed to upgrade the fuel pump to get a really good tune and make more hp.
so while it may not be absolulty nessary most people recommend it to make it easier to tune and to have the capabilty to up the boost.

im sure a em1 fuel pump is a little different than a d16 pump but by how much? because hondata has a thing saying an em1 fuel pump will put out to 300hp easy on stock 40 psi fuel pressure so i dont see why a d16 being a 1.6 liter like the b16 wouldnt put out 220. my car is all stock besides the turbo kit and injectors and ecu, i have 525cc fuel injector clinic

the stock fuel pump can put it out im not saying it cant a stock d series pump is 70 or 80 i believe
its just added insurance and IMO its better to have it and not need it and the tuner compensate for it then possibly maxing out the stock one for everything its worth. the stock pump will put out that much all im saying is personally if i was turboing a car the fuel system is one thing i wouldn't cheap out on. It would be the worth the extra insurance to me to spend the little bit of money and get a walboro 255 or even 190.
stock fuel pumps can put it out, but your asking it to do something it wasn't designed to do it was designed to fuel a 128hp d series not a 200-220 boosted motor. so personally to me its just simply not worth it, but i have always done my builds that way i perfer to know that everything is new and can handle it then have to worry about something happening.
so op its really up to you, you can not upgrade the fuel system or you can have the extra insurance and have the abilty to have more fuel if you need it or decide to up the boost a little bit later on
