the problem with the spirits within is that we expected so much more from the plot. final fantasy games are notorious for intricate and involving plots where you usually feel a lot of emotion. the movie did not captivate me at all.

yeah spirits within didn't follow final fantasy at all. I was expecting magic spells and swords
( or 'S - Words' according to sean connery). This one on the other hand looks freakin sweet. What they need to do is one of Final fantasy 8

most of asia is in the northern hemisphere, so summer there is summer here (here being north america).

the seasons are only opposite between nothern/southern hemispheres

I can't wait to get this game. OMG it looks so f**king awesome and with today's technology, 1997's best game of the year will all of a sudden become the best game of whenever it's finally released...

To bad its not a game..Its just a movie. Either way though its gonna own. I bought 2 tickets to the last FF movie and I still have 1 ticket in mint condition...

don't worry, there's a shitload of ffvii spinoff games coming out.... one of them, which i know is gonna f**king rock is DIRGE OF CERBURUS, a side-story based on vincent valentine.

i'm sure all of u have heard about the FFVII prequel... BEFORE CRISIS, released for 900i mobile phones ( also released are FF1 and DragonQuest1 ) ... it happens six years before FFVII, and there are a whole shitload of turks in that game, and from the looks of one of the wallpapers provided at www.square-enix.co.jp, it seems that cloud is still a part of shin-ra... and sephiroth is leading the turks...

also, XII is coming out soon hell yeah!! ... i guess square (err square-enix) is sticking to their 3 games per system plan... i don't count XI since it is a multiplatform MMORPG...

Gawd FF7 it has been said in this thread alot but damn that is a hot game Sephiroth is still the baddest bad guy in videogame history s**t I am gonna load my old game up and play it some right now!!!
