i'm replacing the ENTIRE fuel system including every line on a 69 vette tomorrow thanks to old gas

gas tank on an early C3?

the hard lines and pump...etc... all that shite can be fabbed or just obtained pretty easily but I think I would try to Kreem that tank before I bought a replacement

I did list battery removal above, but the draining of the fluids part I have to disagree w/you on. But that's a debate for another day. The key word is moisture and condensation. If you drain the gas then moisture will build up in the gas tank and that's bad news. It's easier to drain bad fuel then it is to replace a rotted gas tank (trust me on this as I'm replacing the tank on Gertrude right now).

If you noticeed we posted at the same time, And I would only drain fluids if i were putting up a car for a few years like I did with my 65 ford falcon. It must suck putting away your car like that. I am guessing its cause of the snow and icey condidtions or maybe the road salt? any way I am just glad it dosent snow much where I live. We had snow this winter (2005) for the first time in 16 years.

Yeah.....winter sucks. I won't be driving my car much more for a while....but it's a good thing cause when she's put up she'll be getting a cleaning/painting/and boosted

Thanks man, your painting your car? And booost is always good. I honestly wish I had enough time/money to boost the Honda. Other priorities always pop up though. Can't wait to see it.

haha well paint as far as the engine bay and interior goes....plan on doing a wire tuck and maybe even a cage over winter 8)
