I remember your other post about this! Nice car! I was always a fan of those Impreza's, shame they aren't common in the U.S. and when you see one it looks like crap. I was also sad to see that Mitsubishi FTO in the picture of the junk yard, I love those cars!

DId I see your car in Okinawa? I coulda swore I saw a silver WRX with a foreign Y plate (VERY rare for a car out here to not have an Okinawa plate) also, raaahahaha Y plate, gaijin go home dayooo

Nahhh, that wasn't me. You guys don't get issued Y plates in Okinawa for the Marine Corps? I didn't know that.

We got a big "Y plate" drifting scene nearby. A lot of military personnel have been stationed here for more than a decade. http://www.gaijindrift.com/, my dad's friend has a 800 HP R32 GTR and he's a real good friend with the group. I was invited to go with them to D1 festival in Nango, but we were busy that day.

Hopefully I can go to more events. I've been itching to get into the scene more. It's so hard to find the right people.
