finished my turbo d15 setup

wouldn't look slow next to yours (burn) that slow d15 has outrun a mustang 5.0, a talon tsi, numerous honda ricers, and a n/a supra up the mountain. (in the week b4 i fried my clutch from all the extra power lol) and i wasnt gunnin it, too many cops around to get into it too much, i was tryin to do it there the day b4 and the cops ran us off b4 i could get any good videos off.

but yeah, it is kinda slow for a turbo honda, mostly because of my exhaust piping, clutch, and tranny. all gonna be fixed soon. and haha i'd say it is fast for a d15b7- 102hp/98tq to the CRANK haha. we're guessing somewhere around 170whp, gonna get it to a dyno soon to verify. it responds really well to a lil ignition advance though, i'll tell u that- especially helping spool the turbo.

total cost came to $749 + odds and ends, installation was free 8)

but only because i put around 13 days of intensive labor into making it happen and getting it to work.

nah too me it did..i know u will handle me right now,but i just got in my JDMd15b vtec engine(260$)/JDMsohc tranny(200$)/new clutch....and about 1400 for my turbo kit!yo i would diff. get a JDM si/ex tranny,u would get so much accleration then that dX!

i dream of getting a jdm sir tranny, its sweeeett.... i dunno i'll prob. end up using a ex/si tranny with a zc 5th gear for highway cruising, with an obx lsd. i have trouble in 5th trying not to build any boost... and damn dude where are u getting a d15b for $260? i need a hookup.

i get hooked up from the homie mike...i hread that those obx lsd are good...yo btw:i think my friend has a JDM ex/si tranny w/LSD(stock).he is asking 350$40-70k

go for it dude just make sure to compression check and leakdown test b4 u do it. don't wanna boost an engine thats gonna blow after u do it. mine came back with near perfect compression, thats the result of 180k miles of 2500 mile oil changes and regular preventative maintenance.
