The hardest part to drive stick is the Fist gear, and once you past that, its all simple......

Its not that hard once you get used to it. We did the whole body, and there were a lot of dings and rust.

I forgot what we used, but we stuck a huge glop of body putty, and stuck a line of harderner and swashed it around till it was pinkish. Then we slapped it on where we were filling holes. Let it harden and then we sanded it down smooth.

auto to manual if you did the work would probably run you 700-800 dollars maybe a little more maybe a little less depedning on where you got the parts from and what you paid for them.

Lookin good man. Love seeing what your doing with it. Are you keeping the cat on there or are you getting a straight pipe? Also I don't agree with the above post, I bought a wrecked GSR to get the engine swap for $1700 and parted out unnecessary things for about $1000 plus I got all the stuff for my auto to manual so I doubt it'll cost you that much for the parts for just an auto to manual conversion.

Heres a couple a part list/DIY if u need it but if you plan on doing a swap i'd just wait till then

If you go that route then you can get it for cheaper
But most people just get the part list they need and piece them together buying them seperate from here cl and more i have a few friends that did it that way and thats about wha they spent

I might keep the cat, because I don't know how it will sound with the straight pipe. Plus, in PA you need to have a cat in order to pass emissions. And, I guess if I really am motivated to do it this summer, I may do the swap because I really wanna throw some power into this hatch. I'm definitely doing a minime first, just so this auto isn't too slow lol.

IDK. I'm not entirely sure about the auto-manual swap.

[UPDATE]
Hatch is in my driveway, and safe at its new home. Will post a build thread tomorrow.

dont go straight pipe, get a cat back, and if you want to take of the cat from time to time all yu need is a test pipe and it becomes a straight pipe basically. thats what i have, when its time for DEQ i drop 4 bolts and swap the test pipe for a cat pass it, come home 10 min latter and my test pipe is back on. Or do the legal thing and keep ur cat on at all times lol.

I have a full cat back invidia exhaust, but I was contemplating tying out a straight/test pipe to see how different it sounds.
