If you're worried about rain, but want a CAI, get an AEM one and get the bypass valve. They basically eliminate any chance of hydrolock. Check it out:

i've looked into them, but I heard from the cc grapevine (correct me if I'm wrong please!) that the bypass valve hurts performance, to the point where it won't show any significant gains over the short ram. so I don't know...It's not really a big issue for me right now...
