ECU can cost anywhere from $free-$50(i might beable to find you one, cheap)
DIP socket is $1
ZIF socket $7 (need both DIP and ZIF)
Chips(SST 27SF512 Chip)$5 for 1, i would order about 2
Chip burner $45~ on ebay

anyhting else?

the guy i know will socket the ECU for $30.

back to the fmu, i have a fmu on 5 psi and stock injectors and it runs fine.

yea but i want to be able to run about 10 psi on a good tune....if not that then atleast 7 max....

ive decided im goign to boost, homemade style, need to find a turbo now, making my own manifold, charge piping, open wastegate, homemeade downpipe(with exhaust out side of car, infront of rear tire).

trying to do this for under $500

what do you mean open wastegate?

external wastegate, no tube on it.
