You asked for opinions so here's mine. That thing looks awful and not just b/c it's "ricey" but b/c of poor execution. The 2 tone is not done correctly and as mentioned only looks like an unpainted body kit. It lacks any type of creativity and resembles most of what the typical clueless ricer would've done (magnetize a Civic and drive through Pep Boys).

Honestly, it's cars like this that give the "modded Civic" owner like me a stigma and why I have to preface that my car is not like "what you probably think" when I'm telling someone about it that doesn't know me. Ighhh

BTW: You mention that you're going for something "different" but I see more s**t like this than I do cleanly modded/tastefully done Hondas out my way so I don't see how it's "different".

i still like some rice... but that thing looks like it tripped and fell into the budget part bin at pep boys and s**t just sorta stuck on

if you got rid of the taillights it would make a world of difference , also dont like the barbed wire racing stripe some different wheels and painted kit might help to

I like those R34 bumpers on civics but if you're gonna do rice...atleast do it right and get everything color matched. otherwise it looks like the rest of the stereo type ricers.

the two toned thing looks like you just didnt paint your kit.
if you want to tone you need to paint some body panels black to match

Lower it ALOT, paint the kit to match your car, get rid of the crazy micro-looking mesh in the front bumper, also paint the spoiler and mirrors to match your car...

And it wouldn't look AS bad. But at least you admit to the rice, stand up for what you like with confidence and pride, and like your car . That's what really matters.

I feel you about trying to be different... in my area...every civic looks the same.....i have a body kit myself(Tsunami ft lip, side skirts, rear bumper) but i think your car would look a lot better all red or all black... oem tails would be good too.... g'luck with it....

You kind of have to expect this kind of reaction when posting a car that doesn't look stock on cc, so take everything with a grain of salt...I do think though if it was solid car it would look a lot better. Would I make my car like that, no, do I really like it, no, but who cares. I'd just like it a lot better if it had more continuity and was one color.....

i appreciate all the feedback... half of it i expected and i understand your point. i'm sorry if you think my one car makes people think less of yours, but hey like it has been said many times, "to each thier own" , i am lowering it and like i said before the paint was free i was experimenting like it or hate it "IT IS A PROJECT" there are many things i am going to do and undo thats what projects are for, and that is why i appreciate the positive and negative feedback.

i like this site yo if this was posted on HT the thread wouldn't last this long LOL... According to Domestic V6 owners/drivers and better we all are ricers meaning 4cylinder rides. Ricers calling each other ricers thats funny hey just keeping it real i own two 4cylinders Scion and Honda and even though they look stock kats always trying fade my s**t by calling them rice bunners hehe but 35mpg= mo money in the bank so bump the rice comments dunnys

um.. i think u really need to spray the whole thing, and the mirrors/viper look alike stripes dont do it ANY justice at all..

i dont get why people wont put black mesh in bumpers.. silver mesh just looks so bloody tacky its unreal!...
