what do u mean when its up? it does but not as much as you think for example if i put the seats up it just sounds like i lowered the volume just a lil tad still loud enough to hear me comin from 2 blocks

theirs not six 6x9s.....theirs 8 6x9s dont forget where the stock speakers went i changed those to so i have a total of 8 pioneer 6x9s

to you it might be...but i did it as a graduation project meaning i have to either shadow someone , to community service , volunteer in a hospital or what i did creative interest...what i did gave me two purposes one i passed my graduation project so now i can graduate highschool and two me and my two older brothers are into sound competitions ...its my car and i did what i wanted to do with it..but i can garantee ( Spelling ) that my car turns more head than yours

i didnt say it was useless because sound systems are useless, i think its awesome that you got graded on modding your car, i like sound systems, im saying having 8 6x9's is completely useless their all doing the same thing. maybe if you had DIFFERENT sizes of speakers, it would help fill out your sound spectrum. unless your just going for an SPL setup, in which having that many 6x9's would still be useless

and about the head turning....wow....that was retarded...

Its a great Idea and I really think you shoudl do a write up on how you went about making that "fake wall" cuz I want to make on like that to mount my amp. But...I think its a lil overkill on the number of speakers. If there were two subs in there instead of those 6x9s, i think it would be a different story. But you get an A for effort...

It's all good, especially for a school assignment.. but as stated before, kinda moot..

a Single 10" with 150wRMS will demolish the bass provided by the 6x9s..
Still cool, anyhoo..

you're free to like it, but if you're gonna post it up, expect people to post their opinions. don't get pissy 'cuz some people don't like it. saying you turn more heads than someone else is being a tool.

it's an interesting project, and it's great that you were able to be graded on that. but from a sound standpoint, it's stupid. those aren't doing anything for your spl and 6x9s are not great sounding speakers. so like i said, from a sound standpoint, building a full stage with different sizes would have been good. the way it is it's useless.

but, as aforementioned, neat project.
