I want to eventually put it in my 89 hatch. Since I get to start from the ground up, I have the chance to make a lot of choices I have no clue about lol.

I hear of people putting b16 heads on b18 blocks. Whats up with that?
What kind of head and ecu would be best?

Thanks,

your best bet is to do a lot of research before you make your decisions...do you wanna turbo or stick to N/A and how much you really want to spend and how much power

well first make sure the block is good. If it is bare, you're going to need all the internals. I say if you want to go N/A use a b16 vtec head. If you want to go turbo, use a ls non vtec head.

I sold my b16 block that wasn't bare for a $100 bucks but it needed a rebuild.

im thinking NA. Maybe somewhere waaay down the road i'll look into a turbo. But i just want something other than my laggy DPFI d15. Not an extreme amount of power, but nothing to be laughed at either.

google cant help too much, when you dont know what youre looking for.
