There should be more contests and prizes regarding new ideas and processes. Nobody is being pushed to do any new s**t and those that do, they get shredded.

We've asked for user input in the past on contests, and we have the site suggestions forum section for a reason. We DO read it. We also tried like hell to push the contests, but it all just comes down to member support at this point. If members don't enter, a contest can't happen. Clubcivic goes in phases of artistic / non-artistic times. At the moment, we seem to be in a non-artistic phase. Anybody that's been here long enough realizes that CC goes in several cycles some of which are activity level, number of creative members, flaming / nonflaming, tight knit/non-tight knit. This is just another spot on the cycle.

Uh. We did have photography contests. We have a Featured Ride contest (Applications being accepted) with a $50 credit, and yet we still have people that don't read instructions or don't enter. Photography contest was great 3-4 years ago, you could count on having 5+ people participating, but the last 2-3 was 1 or 2 people entering, so I stopped doing them as it wasn't worth my time or theirs to do a photography contest when only 1 or 2 people enter. We don't get paid for this, we do it in our free time or down time.

Regarding infractions, lol. Excellent point.

You get an infraction or warning because you deserve it. We don't just give out infractions for anything, you deserved it.

Ehh it all depends...tight knit...yes the few of us older members...or us that have been here for a while. Unlike some Homo-rific...fagtasticular queer that joined last year an has 47 post an thinks his opinion is worth more than a pile of dog s**t your gf left on your pillow before leaving you for your dad.....buy besides that. Member activity has suffered greatly an its just a slow slow decline.

I'm glad the younger crowd an the new members wanna learn....but there just, well a lil slow. A lot of them have no idea that Google exist. I mean how hard is it to search....THEN ask if u can't find it or need to know how. It's like they're ungrateful lil bastard children....think everything should be handed to them without doin any type of research for themselves.

Its funny how this young crowd is jumping on the bandwagon. Im 28 and my friends son is turning 18 and he is looking into buying an older honda. My buddy is 45 and he is into the old school cars, he has a clean Impala 1963. His trend does not appeal the young generation as much, yet the Civic trend is still booming and attracting the younger generation. Its sad to see a knowledgeble veteran leave the game, my buddy is still into fixing up his cars, and I am learning alot from this guy, even though we are of two generations.

What happened to them....longgrain was harsh as hell...but made good points. An as of the next trend...who knows.....whatever they have in the next fast an furious movie. Our lil tuning community was small til the first one came out....then it seemed like everyone wanted a civic...or eclipse....or supra.... but from watching those movies automatically made them feel like they knew Wtf they were talking bout.

Who knows maybe the next trend will be vespas....after watching some crazy ass movie where they have them all riced out...or 5 mile drag races that last half the movie.....or something

I would leave CC since 95% of my time spent on CC is in off-topic but I'm always home and don't go out much so I surf the internet a lot. I wouldn't have anything else to do . I should get a 2nd job again.
