I dont understand a few things...

1.) why not just take the headlights/tail lights out so you dont have as much area that will still be green after the paint comes off?

2.) why not mask off the lower grille on the front bumper? Looks tacky when its painted body color IMO.

3.) you jammed the doors/trunk (or so it appears?), why not mask off the rad support and such so thats blue as well?

4.) why didnt you take the trim off and paint it seperatly? along with the sideskirts?

and my BIGGEST pet peve, since it happend on my car.

Why didnt you OPEN the sunroof and mask it off so you could paint that jam too, that jam is still silver on my civic and it bugs the s**t out of me. (i didnt paint my car though, or it would of been done the right way the 1st time)

Eh..... I actually like CGP better then EBP.... :what:
For a long time I didn't think I liked Cypress Green Pearl. I liked clean Clover Green Pearl though, with all it's gold tones. Then I moved here... and fewer cars have heavy oxidation like they seem to have in the NorthEast. All of a sudden I get to see what all these CGP coupes and sedans look like with good condition paint. I saw this completely stock, CLEAN ass sedan driven by a girl a couple of days ago. OMG, one of the cleanest I've ever ever seen. Sooooooo beautiful. I didn't know it was possible.

Eek, that would blow. I've decided before that if I ever were to repaint my car (no real reason to on this paint though) that I would HAvE to strip the entire car, buy new moldings, etc. I just couldn't stand to even know that there were places on my car that are unpainted the new color. Plus at elast on the front weatherstripping at the top of the glass on the windshield, there seems to be a habit on some Civics at least for it to curl up a tiny bit. It goes back in place, but you can see the paint underneath the strip.

I didnt' even notice the lower grill. Big pet peeve here too.

It looks like the lower grill *might* have not been entirely masked... can't really tell though. Did you paint in the gas door? I've always been picky about gas doors... I figure since gas can drip there it's a good idea to keep it all detailed well so there's some protection. Plus most gas doors look gross inside.

Hello all,

It indeed appears the fools left the sideskirts black and did not paint the underhood/underneath the trunk/etc.
I can't afford to be more than a week without transportation (and a week is already enormous) so it shall have to wait for a holiday overseas or something like that.

That paintjob cost me around 500 $ with paint and labor and my paintwork was really ruined so all and all it's not such a bad deal.

As for the photoshoot, today looks like rain (in Tunisia lol) so that shall be postponed to this WE :P

So I got my cherished EX back and she looks a stunner. I'm happy to say the lower grille is still black and has not been painted. The sun is coming back up so I may snap a few later on today and post them tomorrow :-)

Is that 500 US Dollars or 500 Tunisian Dinar? Because if you meant 500 TND... that equals to around $375 USD.
