i currently have a moto atrix. if google buys it and develops it more i would be happy! officially unlock and truely optimize the hardware is what i wish for. I love google but if google gets too big and out of control, they will be like any other powerhouse company.

Google said Motorola would be ran as a completely seperate company from Google. It would still have to bid, just like other handset manufacturers, to build the next Nexus, they'd still have to pay the licensing fee's for the Android system.

Google bought Motorola for the patents they have, to aid in the defense of lawsuits being thrown at them by Apple.

its all about patents. motorola owns like what? 24000 patents?

as for the next google phone, it will be "Great" in terms of what? hardware that cant be used fully? the only phone to have what? the first to have ice cream? all of these things are great but android 2.3 was last years os and finally some devices are getting around to having it. and whats new? google talk? NOONE uses it and it sucks. the quality is horrible.

the atrix was one of the first phones to have 2 cores and its already outdated within 3 months. its moving too fast. google is gonna get bigger and badder. not in a good way

Everyone complains about the bail out, does anyone have any idea what our economy/worlds economy would be if we didn't bail them out?

If we didn't bail out GM, or over manufacturers, we'd be out 1 million jobs the first year, plus hundreds of thousands of jobs, or even millions of jobs the following years. The US budget would've shrank by billions of dollars, we as a country, would've gone into another deeper recession (depression maybe.)

It's cheaper to bail them out, than to let them fail.
