i cant remember that was like a year ago. been threw so many pairs since than. i blow em like crazy. i was pushing like 300 watts tho. and they were rated 200. but they lasted a while.

sounds like the cross-over isnt right...or they are getting distortion...

i had audio bahn amp and i dont know i just like to know the limits and sometimes i find them. sometimes i get to scared.

and kaace i have been doin stereos for long time. trust me my cross overs were right.

from what i understand is that you could send a thousand watts to a tweeter and not blow it...but it has to be good clean undistorted signal and power...and crossed over correctly...18db slope...or even 24db...i really dont think a 12db slope is enough alot of times...
