Great Audio Set up?

All right, not to brag but my ice is pretty tight. I stuffed my civic with a full pioneer COMPETITION system. It's like everyone said, it's too heavy but it BANGS. Go check my setup out. pushing over like 6,000 watts. If you like it hitting so hard that it hurts then that's what it does. I have two 12 in ts-w3004spl, and 2 class d pioneer d-2000spl with an ported dual box, running like 20 farad capacitor and yellow top optima batteries also with 4 gauge and lower wirings. It pounds, but it cost me over 2,500 bucks, and it's making my civic slow.

No its not pretty tight..only thing pioneer is good for is component speakers..and headunits..the amps and subs are entry level..you got raped for paying 2500 for pioneer..thats jl audio money

So this is what I'm thinking for at the moment.

I'm going to go with a new headunit, component system and rear deck speakers first, and get the Sub/Amp later on when I can afford it comfortably.

Hmm, I guess there is some money to be saved, but not much.

Crutchfield has free shipping and free installation gear (don't know how important this is), whereas woofersetc has shipping costs that up the price a bit, and I'm unaware of installation gear.

I'm a huge fan of infinity subwoofers. IF you wanted, you would probably be happy with 1 12" infinity sub in a sealed box. You could get brand new rear speakers but...when your car's speakers are balanced, you, as a driver, should not be able to hear the rear speakers all that much. So...depending on how often you have passengers and such...you can get new rear speakers.

That would be why I unbalanced my speakers to put just enough power to where I can now hear my rear and front speakers equally. I like the way it sounds much better, thats just my opinion though.

you save 101.99 from woofersetc id say thats a decent amount. use that to but wiring or other need stuff to instal it

you do the math. also you dont need all the extra crap that crutchfield includes.
i say get it from woofersetc and upgrade to a better headunit..such as this one.
