f**k yeah... they've been burnin up..


ok, so just now i attempted to pull the old starter off... a couple nasty surprises:

1) can't get the f'n bracket for the wiring off... sprayed it down with some liquid wrench and it's soaking now.

2) the lower mounting bolt for the starter... i thought it went missing (as in, it's not there), but turns out half the bolt is actually still in there. SOMEHOW it snapped in half. gonna need to get it reverse drilled and pick up new bolts

3) damn, visibility sucks with all the hoses in the way

Man Anf what the hell did you do?? That starter change shouldve only takin you like 20 minutes. HOw did the bottom bolt snap in half??

i dind't do anything... it was already snapped when i got to it... i dind't break it... grrr... and the other bolts aren't loosening either... /sigh

this is a 10 minute job that's turned into a major pain in the ass.

liquid wrench.. but they still wouldn't come off... so when i took her in to get the mounting hole rethreaded i had them use the air tools to pull those off lol
