To tell you the truth, he doesn't really know much about the mechanical aspect of cars. He's got a really nice car,(rich parents) and he puts quality parts on it. Which I respect. But he just doesn't really know the mechanics of it. I'm pretty sure he wanted it because of his friend with the EVO...

Well... we found a house to rent in the meantime! We move in tomorrow evening.
I'm also not happy with my job transfer and I'm trying to go back to my old job. 
I hope they will take me back!

The owner gave us free rein over the place. Were gonna make it as liveable as possible. We gotta repave the driveway so all 3 of the hatchies dont scrape. But I get to live out my dream of taking the credit card and go on a shopping spree for the house. Best thing about it is it's down the road from here and we don't have to move out of here asap. At least we don't have to live in his dad's basement anymore. It's just rent for 650 a month for a year. Their planning on bulldozing the house after us and selling the lot for a bigger house. But either way we still need certain things for the house and we can sure use it once we really find a house we like. The best thing is the rent is still cheap enough for us to still save.
Dont spend money on things you dont need to. Like the driveway. IF you are only going to there a year and then they are going to bulldoze it, it aint worth it.
IMO i would just start socking away as much money as you guys can for the next year. That way you have a nice chunk of change for when you get someplace more permanent.

Installed the FMIC. Kit was a piece of crap with horrible fitment. Was supposed to let hime keep fogs but....Car started fine, took some pics of it all and a vid. Whatever.

I agree but the driveway is a must at this point or else were gonna be spending the money on fixing the under body/front ends of all 3 cars instead of important s**t down the road. The driveway is a mixture of broken pavement, gravel, and brick on a 35 degree angle from the road. The only solid part is the sidewalk. We have some friends that can do it for a small labor fee. We do the prep work and they lay it down.

hooka is $15 and beers are pretty reasonable.. blue moon bottles are $3 so a few of those and you're set.. throwing the idea out there to see if anyones up for it. they open the place up at 9pm and close at 2am
