ugh i'm pissed. i'm putting the short shifter into the subie and i can't get the f**ker in. it was much easier in the other car for whatever reason. i put all my weight on it and can get the plastic to flex, but i don't weigh enough to drive it in. need to find a big guy tomorrow lol

Anfrey how can you have a problem getting it in?? Its not that hard to force it in if you have to! Maybe you just need a little lube, then it should slide right in.

Anyways, finally got a job, I work at Valvoline instant oil. Yay. Burned myself 6 times today on exhaust pipes and spilled steaming hot oil down my shirt. Awesome first day, can't wait to see what happens tomorrow.

hahah lmao... i got one of my friends to give it a try... he's 300 lbs... he put his full body weight on the shifter and it still wouldn't go in. i ended up asking my neighbor for a 2x4, put it on the shifter, and pounded it down with a hammer. all good now and i still managed to make it to sonic to hang out with the subie dudes in town.
