^^ ditto on that last line....
Kyle, what bar do you recommend for me?

I would go with the Hard Dog due to the harness bar, but thats because I use harnesses. If you don't the clear view is a great bar because it really does improve rear visibility a lot. As far as install difficulty, I wouldn't consider either one harder than the other. I think the clear view is better for you.

If you wanted to use a harness at some point, you could intall an eyelet for a joint-mount. I wouldn't attach a harness to the diagonals. That seems weird to me.

Price is a big factor too. for the difference, the BF kills it.

What are we counting down? The only RS4 I know of is an Audi.

hmm good point Kyle,

I don't have a harness maybe one day, but i think it adds to the rigidity of the ACE.

For installation I think it differs since the ACE goes inside the belt towers not on-top of them like others. Ron *(Gaan on CR) is preaching ACE to me since he's been through 3 bars.

Ron on CR said:
This is my 3rd miata and I would do exactly what I did with the current one. You have nice stock tires/wheels...get the bar next for sure. I wanted the best so I went the hardcore DD and Clearview route but I've learned that is overkill and unnecessary. For the price and the fact I can use my factory belts, the Ace was the way to go. I was going for the sport bar but I know some tracks and groups require at least something like the Ace...1 diagonal and be 1.75" OD. After the bar, get the frame rail...for you since it's a daily, get the stainless steel from Flyin Miata. To me the stock suspension is fine and I can attest it'll do both autox and road course pretty well so I didn't want to upgrade. I had the tokico illuminas and flyin miata springs on my NA and that was fine. Once you set it, you forget it so spending oogles of $$ on coilovers might not be worth it unless u just want it slammed. I bet we'll both be reasonably happy with even Racelands. Oh yeah, forgot to mention about getting sway bars. That's even before the rool bar. No miata should be running stock sways.

I'd honestly go with what Ron suggests. I only have one bar experience and I love mine, but really only know so much. I really like my harness bar. Its bolt-in because I thought I would be taking it out when not at the track. Thats not the case. Its in all the time. Its a b***h to put on and take off, so I don't bother. Plus I'm going full harness now, so I need it there all the time. A welded in harness bar can save money.

Do you have a glass rear window? It might not be compatible with the harness bar. You need to check.

i've had my since i was like 13 or 14, i was just helping my dad move in cali, and he asked me if i wanted the car
so i took it home and got it running i like a half day and then i went through the tyres so i bought some new tires and wheels and then i then i get some drift wheels which have tires attached to them, those are the bronze wheels
