Nice hood connie, im quite jealous..
and ive got the same headlights on my coupe.. have had em for like 2 yrs now or so.. i like em, and they do look pretty good on the hatchie too
Thanks buddy! I have more pics of it posted on myspace if ya haven't had a chance to look yet.
how do u guys get insurance checks? when i crashed the coupy....i asked for a check lower than what the bodyshop estimated but they said it had to get repaired at a bodyshop for them to pay for it. they could not cut a check to me. i got full coverage. ???
Just to clarify, John (my ex-fiance/best friend) was driving the white hatchie and was hit by some woman from Indiana when she turned into him, in it. Both he and I have been talking to her insurance company about fiiling the claim. Her insurance company sent out an adjuster to look at the hatchie 11 days after the accident, due to us not finding her correct insurance information and then having to call her to get the correct insurance company to file the claim. The insurance adjuster took notes on the GSR upgrade & the rims and due to the accident being pretty bad, he totaled my car out on the claim. He said because of the upgrades we can get $5k out of it and have to pay $500 to buy the car back. If she contests that claim, I could only get the Kelly Blue Book value of $2300 and have to buy the car back for $200. But she admitted at the scene of the accident to the cop, who filed the accident report, that it was her fault. So, I'm pretty sure she won't contest to it since she admitted to her being at fault. The insurance adjuster said if I wanted to go ahead and get the car fixed, I could do so, but to keep the reciepts. Honestly there is no doubt that I have to have a bodyshop pull the radaitor support forward. I tried to close the carbon fiber hood yesterday and had to have John take a mallet to it, to push it forward as much as possible just to get the hood to close. I'm pretty much waiting to hear from the insurance company to see if I get a check or not. Of course they gotta jerk you around for weeks on end with it. Techniclly if you get 3 autobody quotes and send the copies to the adjusters, they usually make chances higher of getting a check. I only have one quote.
Hell I wasn't even driving the car muchless got it into an accident for 3 years!
dont forget to invest in sound deadening. layer some over the rear cause ure hatchie is fast but its noisy inside. and dont worry....i wont scare you with the potholes again
Pfffttt Antonio... The sound doesn't bother me at all.
The hasport mounts in the red hatchie f**king SUCK. Anything taking the shaking from the motor itself away and putting it on the frame is like not wearing your seatbelt going 100mph with no suspension work done to the car. It seriously scares the s**t out of me everytime I drive the red hatchie.
I feel like I'm just rattling around in there.
So im thinking since my car will be paid off, maybe just swapping an H in there and leave it till i can afford something new.
Just remember the moment you prefab the body for an H motor, that's pretty much the last motor to be in the car.
