Other two rims are going on friday - just awaiting new tires. OEM splash guards are on their way as well - all the way around. Just wanted to give everyone a chance to decide / hate now...

EDIT: Going from the rotas to the si rims..

EDIT: Ground controls coming with the week, in which itll be dropped another 1"

I think he's going to the si's from the front wheels...unless I'm mistaken he's had the front wheels for awhile. I like the front wheels better than the si's but they both look good on your car, excellent choice with the ground controlls also

Put SI's on opposite corners and put the Grids on the other opposite corners . And then paint each wheel a different color/theme.

haha yeah. sad to see the bronze rotas go, but the Si's will look clean. you should paint them bronze with a polished lip just like your rotas haha. can't wait to see what it looks like with the GC's - i'm ordering a set soon. what spring rates did you get?

Haha yeah im a little uneasy about the rims too. First off, I wanted some 15" rims and I actually do plan on selling the car by the end of this year. But secondly, I really do like the SI rims for some reason. I got 450f / 400 r for the GC setup. I cant wait, cause itll be dumped on the si rims... woohoo.

Ill try to find the pic that inspired the setup. Also, Ill take some new pics at the end of this week when the other 2 rims go on and the mudflaps.

DOOD! Thats actually a OEM VW Golf! They only made like 200 cars in the US!

Back on topic.....I like the Rota's 100 times better than the Si's. The Si's are played out....way too much.

haha yeah there's actually one of those multicolored Golfs in my hometown i see it all the time.

and i agree that the Si wheels take away from the car's originality but with the drop i think it'll look hott.

car does look really really good. dont ever doubt it. i like both rims. i favor other rims voer the si rims because of how "flat" the face of the rims are. i like depth or dimension to rims.
