Taking the card out doesn't uninstall the drivers.

I uninstalled the drivers through device manager.

I figured it out. Turns out, I can't use matrix lol. If I leave matrix off, everything works fine. Sweet.
LOL.

Matrix mode is only used when you don't have a 5.1 sound card.
It takes the front left and front right (2.1) and basically mimics it into the other speakers to give it a 'surround' sound feel.

I believe I have the same speakers. Except I have it set up for my TV/DVD. I bought three 3.5mm to RCA cables, so it all works on my 5.1 Channel DVD player. Surround sound FTW!

Yeah TBH, I had no idea what matrix mode was lol. I bought it refurbished so it didn't' come with a manual or any user guide for me to get to know it. I assumed the picture on the button meant surround sound :rolf:.

Surround sound FTW. What sucks is my desk is in the corner but isn't a corner desk so it's hard for me to get that surround sound feel. I'm going to get my rear speakers mounted on the back wall behind me. I used the speaker settings to put more sound out in the back than the front since they're farther away but I wish I could control each individual speaker since my desk is positioned awkwardly in the room.
