Help With Single Cam Turbo

Hi everyone, my issue is getting me very irritated and i have looked on google for my answer but cant find it. Well whats happening is i got my car tuned on 8 psi and made 200WHP and 179 WTQ. Ever since the tune my car has been acting weird. my car smokes only when i press the gas and for a second it leaves a cloud but then it goes away while still pressing the gas pedal. when i come to a stop my car idles so low it dies sometimes. when my car dies i crank it up and a cloud of smoke comes out then goe away. in the morning when i get up it starts fine, idles fine, no smoke, but once its warmed up it acts up again. could it be my turbo is done?
Mods on car
Greddy 3 layer gasket (thick)
Walbro fuel pump
Rc 440
Aem cam gear (Got the black on just for looks lol)
ARP head studs and Bolts
Hondata s100
and i have a t3 evo 3 turbo

Just noticed my turbo doesnt spool when i turn my car on. turbine doesnt spin at idle

Sounds like a tuning problem. I'd take it back and have them retune it. What color is the smoke?

Black smoke = Burning rich
Blue smoke = oil
White smoke = Water/antifreeze

when i look through my rear view mirror looks blue and smells like oil and gas

Did you build the engine at all? Blue smoke means oil, which isn't good.

nope all stock internals, it happened right after the tune, i did the tune at ericks racing.

did the tune shop perform a leak-down and do a compression test w/ the engine b4 u turbo charged it....b/c it could be something simple as a o-ring, or gasket failing causing oil to leak into your engine, thus causing it to quit on u from the loss of lubrication..but you said the turbine doesn't spool could be a faulty turbo. What type is it....

One of my buddys had this problem and it was a faulty turbo. He sent it off hand had it rebuilt and then every thing was good.

i have an evo 3 t3 turbo. ill send the turbo to get rebuilt. as far as leak down and compression test no, im going to have honda fiend(shop) do it for me on tuesday.

sounds like your turbo may be taking a s**t/ burning oil. How much shaft play did the turbo have, was it new? Your blades should be spinning tho.

mine does the exact same thing as yours. everything you mentioned. I have no idea what it is. im thinking i just need a better tune.

bizoneoeh thank you, it was new but when they tuned it they did 18psi on it on accident because of my wastegate(cant believe my motor held). i think that messed it up. shaft play is very slight. it doesnt turn off anymore i adjusted the idle. the blade seems like its forced to spin. like i said it dosnt spool at all in idle its stuck

ae motoring im doing a compression/leakdown test tomorrow.

ajpetrarca23 try to see if you can adjust your idle i put mine higher and is perfect doesnt turn off but still smokes.

did a shop tune it and make the mistake? If so, they should pay for it.

yea a shop did, i just replaced my gasket from header to turbo sounds better and is now boosting better, but still smokes.

so far i fixed the idle issue from the iacv
boosting issue sort of by replacing the gasket

Havent fixed the smoking issue

Something doesnt sound right if the blade isnt spinning at idle.

Car is starting to smoke more, when i drive i feel like if the car boosts great then doesnt for a quick second on and off. weird
