okay so i installed the valve seat, i got a 38mm for my 38mm wastegate, but the wastegate is still leaking exhaust?? Its not really sealing evidently but its better then it was, so what do i need to do now? I think i just need a new wastegate.

I got a Tial universal valve seat for my knockoff and people said it would fit....its not leaking out the sides its leaking out of the exhaust port that just goes out into the atmosphere. i dont have a flange going to my exhaust or downpipe...it seemed like the valve seat didnt really fit into the groove from the actuator on the wg

you can get new Tial knockoffs on ebay for like $50, they will come with all the hardware you need. shitty that the one you boght was missing pieces, but i guess thats how it goes sometimes.
or just look for a used Tial, ive seen them go for as low as $130
