Okay, so here's some pics of the new project. Picked it up this weekend. Comments are expected lol
A hint as to where it came from:
And if you don't know by now, ka-POW (both literally AND figuratively, mind you):
Best $800 I've spent on this hobby so far (plus $200 for the WS2 exhaust). Not that you wouldn't expect the interior cleanliness knowing where it came from:
And slightly different under the bonnet (lol... bonnet. Harry Potters, you crack me up):
Where it will sit for the next 4 months-ish:
And the stable sans one brother:
I have very specific plans for this car. Oh yes. Nothing ground-breaking, but since I consider myself an enthusiast rather than an artist, I won't be losing any sleep over it. The fenders are rolled and we know the fitment that works.
And here's the final word on exhaust, noobs. The WS2 exhaust blows almost the same decibels as stock, but with a much lower tone. So before you post "I want an exhaust with a nice deep tone and not too loud or ricey," just suck it up and get one of these. I was always saying how my eBay junk exhaust wasn't bad at all; this one just straight puts it to shame. The Yonaka is somewhere in between, but man, it is STILL not as nice sounding as this one. Videos don't do it justice, and you're just going to have to trust the word of somebody that owns all three at the same time.
In other news, I slid into an Accord this morning at about 15 mph with the '92, rear ended the guy. It had just rained a little bit and there must've been oil in the left turn lane, the fronts just locked up and bang. Total damage: a one inch crack below one headlight. He had absolutely nothing on his car, didn't even swap paint. Honda on Honda violence! lol Thankfully he was on his lunch break, was in a hurry and couldn't give a s**t about getting me a ticket for it. Gave him a business card and told him to call me if his bumper suddenly fell off. Figures something like this would happen a week or two after I make the call to eventually get rid of this shell. The Honda gods prefer commitment
