Ok, yes I actually did say it was an automotive class. It is a high school class, however I'm learning. I have a purpose for it also, which many of them in there don't. I didn't back anything up, he asked for my opinion on what someone should do, so I gave it. I'm only 17, I don't know all about cars, but I'm learning more everyday. And I know more than most people even think just by looking at me. I'm not on here to hear you all talk crap about my knowledge, I'm in here because we all share the same passions, Hondas and in this particular forum, civicsThat she is, but if you are going to correct someone, you should have proof to back it up. Best way to learn is to listen. We still don't know what class, she could be talking about highschool shop class. We all know what good that does for learning.
And actually, it's not. Many of the people I meet at car meets and different events, all treat me different because I'm a girl. They talk to me like I have no idea what I'm doing. Many times, I'm the only girl you'll see there. I do learn by listening and that's mainly how I know what I know now.I was biting my tongue all day. I'm glad someone stepped up and said what I was thinking. [emoji38]
You failed me boi! That's 50 CC lashings...
Would either one of you like to educate the class and point out where on a civic manual transmission there is a shift solenoid? Only solenoid I have seen on a manual is on something like a C5 vette where it forces you to shift from 1st to 3rd/4th to save fuel on slower take offs. Called a skip shift solenoid. Never heard of something like that on a civic though. Civic uses the traditional clutch, flywheel, lever/cable, and gears to shift. No internal hydraulic control.
FTFY = "Fixed That For You". He changed your post in his quote of your original post.
Calm down. Lol. No one is talking crap about your knowledge or lack there of. You tried to correct me and I called you out on it.Ok, yes I actually did say it was an automotive class. But Cary (lethal) is right. Don't worry about trying to impress anyone. Just keep an open mind.
Oh gotcha. That's awkward then. Sorry hahaNah, I'm talking about the one that lethal referenced in his post. The one that's been around for years and most don't know that she is a female.
