hey everyone...

Well i did buy the sportmax wheels and i put them on. i have a little story about them too. Here are some pictures first.

Now the story behind this, is that i got pulled over 2 1/2 hrs after putting them on. lol I was like this is crazy. The cop pretty much told me that i needed fender flares. Didn't give me anything, didnt look up my information, Nothing.

So my next step is to get a type of fender flare. There is a company called E.G.R. that sells flares. Nothing bulky or anything just a low profile type deal. The thing is they are for a 1996-2000 civic sedan.
Now my question is.. I don't really think that the wheel-well opening is that much different that the EG body.
Its from ebay and total is around $50.00 with shipping included. I thinking about getting it. not sure personally. I don't want something that is huge and that goes with a body kit. But i need something that slims down for the rear doors like this kit from EGR.

Your thoughts and opinions are welcomed. :word:

yeah i def. would like to lower the car. im going back and forth between buying full coil-over set or a good set of springs. I have had my previous coupe lowered on Neuspeed springs and KYB gr-2 struts and was very happy with the stance and ride. Just not sure what type of set-up i should go for.

that is an amazing thread. um i never wanna see my car be that low. because its just not possible for my area.
i look at his thread, and it just makes me think.. did i make a wrong choice on wheels? Like everyone else says, i neeed to be SUPER low to pull wide stance look.

Oh well, see i would kinda rather keep the wheels out like mine now.. with the car just a little lower. i like that look and i wont have to go thru tires like that AlexM guy.

Yeah hate to say it but those wheels look god aweful on your car and I'm a fan of sportmaxxes. Leaving them at stock ride height is just a crime w/those wheels.

Prepared to be racially profiled just based on your wheels.

Good luck man I hope you at least drop it a few inches to save face.

Other than that nice pick up on a single owners sedan!

well thank you for all the comments. i did get rid of the wheels though. I liked them a lot and would have looked good with the car lowered. so i got these other wheels which are 16in. 205-40-R16. Not sure of the brand but i did find them on the internet with a name. I just don't remember of it.

This is a new picture of the different wheels.

but of course nothing is perfect, the tires i found out are cupped~(not sure if that's the spelling for it)~ So i just took them off and will have to buy new tires. Cause i am not sure if that's safe at all to ride on tires that are cupped.

So as of today, Saturday the 15th. she looks like this. just waxed it in this picture

thanks:cool:
