at this site it says this...

". Engine movement is minimized by controlling the durometer of the polyurethane bushings, and as such, only 3 mounts are required. The easily replaceable bushings have a 1 year warranty. No custom axles needed for this installation(Axle Info). " (http://www.hasport.com/store/)

does that mean i won't need to get axles if i buy this mount kit?

I got mine from www.total-boost.com. They will send axels with the swap but I think they were $100 I got my complete swap, axels, shipped for 2632.00. You will also need resistors 20.00 and prelude or accord shifter 50.00 along with your stock wiring harness, upper and lower radiator hoses will be needed, and a new belt to comp. for the lack of A/C. 850.00 for install. Herman is the guys that hooked me up wih my swap. Highly recommend. Good luck About 4000.00 total.

all you have to do is buy the ENJO motor mounts for the swap they have the same polyurathane bushings they just have a crossbar though that moves the engine over so you get to KEEP YOUR AC AND POWER STEERING. =)

I've thought about swapping mine with an h22a. I've driven a friends that had it swapped out, and it handles fine. Neither of us could tell a difference in handling between my stock civic and his. He just got places MUCH faster.

wrong. if you do get a b18c5 it would be a waste to boost, cuz of the way their engine is built. 11.1 c/r is not good to boost on. if you want boost then go wit the gsr swap the cams and pistons are a good match for boost. b18c5 should be used for all motor IMO.

but even a b18c1 if you boost it.... the engine will still blow from what i hear..... what if you do all the right replacements how many miles do you think a correctly turbo and tuned b18c1 would last????

Progress suspension makes 'swap springs', they're designed specifically for your car/engine combo. Hearsay is that the car will handle as well as with any other engine.

I'm looking into swapping an H22 myself. I've asked a bunch of guys this question, they all say "No problems here." I'm not planning to race the car, I want more torque for climbing hills and acelerating with a full car. My main concerns are my power steering, and that I'd like to add a/c.

Thanks for the tip on the ENJO mounts, I'll have to check them out...

a properly tuned and taken care of stock b18c can handle boost just fine. if you drive it right, it will last almost as long as a stock b18c. beat the s**t out of it, as with any motor, it will break sooner or later.
