how compatible?

Someone is interested in trading me an 01 civic sedan for my dirt bike. I have an 03 civic coupe and the only thing stopping me is not knowing how compatible the 2 cars are. Will most of these parts swap to the other without a major headache?

Almost all parts will be compatible. 01-03 are same generation. Both the same trim (such as EX, etc?) 01-03 are nearly identical, 04-05 saw some minor revisions.

I am purchasing a 2001 Honda Civic to repair a 2005 Civic EX Sp. Ed.

I just need the front driver's fender, driver's headlight, hood and front bumper.

I assume all of these will be simple bolt on.

The '01 parts do not interchange and swap over to the '05 unless you're putting on the entire '01 front end on the '05.

Yup, I didn't learn that until they were both in my driveway. Luckily this 2001 just needs a radiator. Why do people sell cars for work like this?
