HOw fast are those SRT4!?

WOW! Thought I’d bring this thread back from the dead. Hearing how you guys talk about this car is a disgrace to the sport compact world. Out of the box and modded for far less money, and performance reliability compared to most Hondas and you guys still can talk sh!t about it? The Srt-4 bottom ends are good till 500 horse and the top end can handle 400+. How the hell is that going to pop half way down track? Lulz @ all the haters who can't make torque for s**t and it takes 8200 rpm to make and horse power. I belong to other PERFORMANCE car forums and we mostly respect all the potential in a lot of cars including Hondas. I was a member of this site for a long time before researching and driving my new car the SRT-4. I admit I hated them too as a Honda owner but I never drove one or experience one. When I did I found out what torque was and how much fun the car was. It’s reliable and extremely fast with just simple bolt on and fuel upgrades. Also yes 350 has been hit on a stock turbo. When you guys take your stock cars out with a fart cannon on it and pull on an s2000 pm me. Do your research on cars before you start ripping on them and respect all cars for what they can offer. Domestic or import. I only right this because I have owned what I thought was a fast Honda. My good friend has a Del sol with a custom vortec charger on a stroked b16 type R and he’s only making just over 300 horse and in the 200's with his torque numbers. A respectable car for sure but again the Srt-4 putts up far better numbers and similar out of the box. sooooo there's my .2.

And your looking for an old civic hatch? hmmm? my car is a pos eh lol try putting solid mounts on the "new car" your looking to buy and listen to it rattle to s**t. LoL. good luck with your search and your build in the future. Not sure why you still are talking s**t about a better car..To each their own.
