first it wont be impressive on a 1.6 or 1.8

second you dont have much room to work with. you would have to take 2 of the runners on a turbo manifold and attach 1 turbo to it, and the other 2 runners to the other turbo. obviously turbo lag is going to be a problem. for the amount of time and energy you put into it, you would likely have a civic that is slower than if you just used 1 turbo.

even with gt28r's?
usually twin turbos have 1 small turbo like a t25 and a bigger turbo like a t4. the purpose of the smaller turbo is to spool up quickly so that it can help spool the larger turbo quickly. the smaller turbo really isnt there to help you increase power, its there to help reduce the turbo lag of the bigger turbo by increasing your CFM's, cuz the bigger turbo is where all the power is at.

thats still the equivalant of a 500+ whp turbo. there are two types of twin turbo setups, sequential and twin. sequential use a small turbo to spool fast, and then a larger one for top end. this is usually used on a motor that has such a big turbo that it wouldnt spool properly or streetably without the smaller helper turbo. twin is when two of the same turbos are used, usually on v engines where having 1 turbo for both cylinder banks would be difficult if not impossible to achieve. your civic has neither of these problems, so a twin turbo setup would do more harm and cause more problems than it will solve. if you want 2 gt28r's, just get 1 gt35r, you'll have somethign that takes less plumbing, probably spool faster, and make more power.

stick with one turbo. just wasting money on a little motor. if u had a bigger motor to produce more power and tq then its considerable but not for a civic. i have seen a couple of twin charged civics and i know single turboed civic can still beat them. unless u just want to have a twin charged civic to have one. but IMO twin charged civics if its a 1.6 or 1.8 platform. .... its kinda like puttin money in a trashcan

not always. when ran in series, yes they are usually different sizes. but a lot of times when ran in parallel, they are the same size snails.

either way, you are better off just running 1 big turbo

I always was told by my friend who has a scooby, that one turbo was better then two. As a larger one.

single turbo is better then two... two just increases lag. Which is why mk4 owners convert to one turbo.
