you know what though? the metal coat hanger has got to be one of the most useful tools for doing any form of wiring. I couldn't tell you how many times it has come in handy during the last 8yrs I've been doing installs

I am going to hi-jack this and ask how you take off the plastic piece around the door where the fuel & trunk release are... I need to hide my amp power wire, but its too think to push under there so I need to take it off to hide it under it, I already have it to the side of the rear seat and all that stuff, thats the only part I have left to hide... 97 coupe.. thanks =)
You are talking about the plastic moulding that runs from the floor of your car, around your doors up to the cielling, and isn't there for much more than esthetics? Thats where I hide my s**t (under the carpet :D)

Open the door - and there should be screws either in the door jamb, or on the plastic molding itself. If you don't see screws look for plastic tabs (circles) that look like they have been cut out of the plastic and put back in.. Those usualy cover screw holes. You can pop them out with a plastic spoon (to keep from scratching up your ride) or an un-serrated butter knife (again for the same reason). I wouldn't use a flat head screw driver or pry anything mainly for the fact that flat heads have sharp corners (Scratches) and prying polyurethane has a tendancy to warp and/or scar it.

I've never been in a 97 coupe so I couldn't tell you exactly where they are (not that it's something I look for anyway).. I hope that helps - if you haven't already found your answer.
