i just changed my timing belt for my first time about a week ago. take out the 2 bolts holding the starter in. the screwdriver in the flywheel worked fine for me, maybe i just lucked out. have someone hold the screwdriver in the teeth for you if it keeps popping out. another tip too : make sure b4 you begin to loosen the pully bolt that you have both the crankshaft and camshaft set at tdc, saves ya a couple mins when trying to put the belt back on. i ran into all the crap people prb run into changing their timing belt for the first time, so if there is anyway i can help ya out email a.ferraro@sxu.edu. or s**t just call my cell 7086068931 good luck
