If the top comes off I'm afraid that pansy ass sweat band isn't going to soak up all of the fluid. The tiny amount that it will soak up isn't going to make a difference. They are lame, hands down.

I'm not being a hater. I made note of something that I find to be completely useless. I have both drag raced and autocrossed the living hell out of my car, and the pounding has never once caused my brake fluid cap to become dislodged. If his came off, then obviously it wasn't screwed on properly. That doesn't mean you go out and buy some Spoon sweat bands for it. You screw the damn cap back on and make sure the thing is tight. Those sweat bands imo are the perfect definition of rice. They are there because they say spoon and serve no real purpose. It's amazing what some people will buy because it has a brand name on it......Rand0m said:

go throw some fluid on your paint and tell me how long it lasts
plus the fact that i tihnk it cleans up both res imo, they look nasty stock just chiilling there if you get a nice one then its fine
a regular band will work but if you see the spoon ones they have a inner sock thingy in there too... hard to explain
and if we are such ricers then you can gladly come race either one of us, and the many other nice hondas out there that have them.. you talk up your car like you did in some other theads

I'm still breaking in the motor so I have it at low boost, so you'd give me run or maybe beat me. It makes 161 hp to the ground with 5 psi and runs 14.4's @ 95-96. Boost won't be turned any higher till next summer. And yes, it is just a ZC, but i sure love beatin on NA B16 guys who think they're untouchable compared to D series guys, turbo'd or not.

Very nice. You have a sweet setup going. Where I live (when I'm not in school), our best gas is 92 octane, so most of my buddy's are scared of having a CR that high, but I have one freind with a B20VTEC del sol with 12.5 and it's been working ok for him.
I'm satisfied with how fast my car is. In Florida where you are, my car would mean d**k all. I'd have nothing. Fortunately, where I live in Canada most of the guys are still in the late 90s ricer phase and still think that body kits make you fast.
I'm hoping to hit 13.7 on 10 psi next summer. I have an lsd which helps a ton, but I still need some better slicks. I'm hoping it'll dyno around 205 whp with that boost, which won't be too bad since I know of a few guys with some beautifully built B18C's that are NA and running that high. So if I can stick with em in a D series I'll be proud of that.

So much drama!! Anyway, looks like it has passed and Im glad I missed it. Yes the sweat sox are ricey in a way. Hell I wore them on my wrists for two days before I put them on the car. If they mad a bigger one I would have wore it on my head James Worthy style! I put them on there because I thought they looked better than the resevoir.
Okay, on to my day. I went to the dyno in search of 400whp. I was denied by my crapy wastegate. It wouldn't control boost past 19 psi. I hit 367 at 19psi and I guess its close. When I go back with the new wg, I will take no less than 425whp.
