And the intake has been installed! I did most of the work, but my dad came out and helped me finish it up

And here's what keeps the hood up. My buddy at work was used to GM products, so when we washed my car and he went to put the hood down, he bent up the support and dented the hood, although we banged the hood back to shape

lol at the hood prop. That is extremely unsafe though. You may want to get that fixed if you are working under the hood.

thanks, got it at work. And I agree it is seriously unsafe, all I need to do is go get one at an auto parts store; will do that next time I need to get under the hood
