If you want 250-300 horsepower and you want it to be a reliable daily driver you're going to need some deep pockets my friend.
I have thought long and hard about that part of the project and realized dreams are expensive. So its going to take a lonnnng while for me to get to that kind of power. Unless i get lucky somehow.

Would it be cheaper to turbo the car or just go all motor?

To achieve that power it will be a lot cheaper to go turbo. Don't get too caught up in the numbers though, just build a car that's fun to drive. 300 horsepower in a Civic is going to be a lot faster than 300 horsepower in most cars.

True. BUT i want to have an all motor car.
